Mary Devine founded Devine Equine in 2011 with the help of her husband, Stephen Brightman. Her passion for horses was passed down from her father William, who also shared an appreciation for these wonderful animals. Mary has been involved with horses for more than 40 years, and has gained a wealth and depth of knowledge of them over this time.

Mary has competed in several disciplines over the years and was national champion in dressage in her category on three occasions. She is an accredited Horse Sport Ireland Level 2 Coach, and also an accredited Therapeutic Horse Riding Coach (the first fully qualified coach in Donegal). She is also qualified to teach the Mackey 5 Bar training system.

Mary is a qualified Equine Touch Practitioner and a Neue Schule & Lantra accredited Informed Bitting bit fitter.

At Devine Equine, our mission is to help people and their horses reach their full potential in whichever discipline or equine-assisted activity they are participating in.

Our services include full livery, individual and group coaching, Equine Touch, therapeutic horse riding and equine-assisted activities, bit and bridle fitting, Mackey 5 bar training, and equine rehabilitation.

We are located four miles from Letterkenny in a scenic, peaceful area with a beautiful countryside backdrop. We have a purpose-built equestrian facility including an arena with mirrors and a specifically selected surface to promote the welfare and performance of horses, a solarium, a horse walker, and specially designed therapeutic stables.
