Equine Touch Practitioner
Equine Touch is a body-based, gentle and non-invasive modality that addresses connective tissues such as muscles, tendons, fascia, and ligaments. The tissue is stimulated by utilising specific moves over precise points of the horse’s body. These can be trigger points, acupuncture points, or around sites of common injuries.
Equine Touch addresses meridian pathways with fascia and muscles and crosses the line between an energy modality and physical bodywork. It can have an impact on releasing hypertonic and traumatised muscles, inducing deep relaxation, encouraging recovery from injuries, reducing pain spiral, assisting in detoxification and lymphatic draining, and enhancing muscle tone.
The horse's awareness is altered as well, and it is urged to emotionally and physically rebalance itself in order to promote profound relaxation and the autonomic nervous system's descent into regeneration and repair. The technique was created with horse owners in mind, and the Touch is considered to be a gift to a horse.
